He is a nationally recognized expert on education data standards, leader of standards development for the U.S. Department of Education Common Education Data Standards, and a serial & social entrepreneur having founded both for-profit businesses and non-profit initiatives.

Eddie Lin, Facebook/Meta

Eddie works for Meta (formerly Facebook) as a Learning Data Scientist. He focuses on using data, machine learning, and artificial intelligence to enhance employees’ performance & wellness at work. He received his doctorate in Learning Technologies & Learning Analytics from Columbia University. He has two big hobbies. First, he likes to write and speak about why AI will work for and with employees instead of replacing them. Second, he enjoys building Legos with his six-year-old son.

Barish Golland is the Senior Learning Technology Ecosystem Specialist at Trinity Western University. For the past 10 years, Barish has worked in the Higher Education sector in learning & development, change management and large scale systems training. He is passionate about leveraging data from Learning Analytics as well as engagement techniques such as Liberating Structures to facilitate transformational, inclusive, and engaging change opportunities for faculty, staff and students.
